Macrame is a traditional fiber art with a rich history worldwide. As a fiber artist, I aim to merge tradition with the modern world to keep it alive and aligned with contemporary design.

In this project, the macrame artwork Entre Lazos demonstrates the beauty of its impact and leads the creative process into an exceptional art piece.
Entre Lazos is 180 cm high, made with over 900 meters of cotton rope and around 120 hours of much love and hard work. It is named after the Spanish words “Entre” in between, “Lazos” knots and “Entrelazos” which means interlace.
